A silver-plate wire bar — hand-wrapped end to end with tightly coiled wire — holds a sequence of 3mm aqua Swarovski bicone beads wrapped into the coil at intervals, each faceted crystal catching the light at its own angle as the earring moves. The color is that particular clear aqua that Swarovski does so well: equal parts teal and sky, more transparent than opaque, luminous without being loud.
