An 8mm matte clear iridescent mermaid glass bead — its surface alive with shifting blue, violet, and pearl — is enveloped in a handcrafted cosmic wire wrap, the silver-tone wire coiled and looped around the bead in an orbital pattern that finishes in a hand-formed swirl at the top. The construction is as much jewelry as the bead itself.
Above it, a handcrafted ear wire — hammered along its length to catch and scatter light with every movement — is accented with a 3mm faceted purple Swarovski bicone and a 2mm round silver-tone metal bead before the wire wrap, the deep violet of the crystal answering the same flash that lives inside the mermaid glass below.
